What makes it different
Reached through Canada
By road, you get here from the rest of Washington by driving about 25 miles through British Columbia and crossing the border twice. A marina and a small airpark are the other ways in.
Water on three sides
Just under five square miles at the tip of the Tsawwassen peninsula, about 35 minutes from Vancouver, with Boundary Bay to the east.

Before you buy
What to check here.
- Whether the home is on sewer or septic. It varies, and on vacant land, water and septic approvals can add real cost.
- Water service with Point Roberts Water District No. 4, including connection status and fees.
- Current border requirements on both sides, since every road trip off the point crosses it.
- Whatcom County's rules for short-term rentals, if hosting is part of your plan.
- Financing and tax questions if you live across the border. I'll help you line up the right professionals.
